About these terms
Soberkind is provided by Ivan Kupriienko, an individual developer based in Canada. For support or privacy questions, email brokenarrovv@proton.me. These terms describe your use of Soberkind and its optional Plus features. Soberkind is intended for adults aged 18 and over. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
App license
For an App Store download, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the app license. The link below opens that agreement. These app-specific terms supplement it and do not replace Apple’s terms or any mandatory consumer rights.
A personal journal
Soberkind helps you record information and reflect on patterns. It is not a medical device, clinical advice, diagnosis, treatment or emergency monitoring service. Colours, rewards and statistics are descriptive; they do not establish safe consumption or guarantee any change in health or drinking. Seek qualified care when appropriate.
Your records and privacy
You control the records you enter and the copies you share. Keep a backup of information you want to retain. The local diary is not automatically synced to a developer server and may be lost if the app or device is removed or damaged. The Privacy policy explains local storage, optional integrations, exports and support correspondence. We do not acquire ownership of your diary entries.
Virtual league
The league is a local motivational feature with simulated opponents. Opponent names, avatars, profiles, rankings and progress are fictional and are not real member activity, user testimonials or evidence of health outcomes. The league is not a live competition between users. It compares check-ins over the latest 7 local days, including today; one recorded day earns one point regardless of the amount entered. Generated opponents are refreshed daily and are not stored in your diary.
Optional Plus and subscriptions
The free journal is available without a purchase. Plus unlocks the features shown before purchase. Available subscription plans renew automatically for the stated period unless you cancel before renewal in your Apple Account subscription settings. Apple charges the total price and billing period confirmed at purchase. A displayed weekly equivalent for an annual plan is a comparison; the full annual amount is billed at once. Deleting the app or local diary does not cancel a subscription.
Lifetime and special offers
Lifetime Plus is a one-time purchase, with no automatic renewal, for access to the Plus features included in that purchase for the supported lifetime of this app. It is not a promise of perpetual app availability or every future separately offered product. Buying Lifetime does not cancel an existing subscription; cancel it separately to avoid renewal.
Restoration, refunds and billing
Apple handles payment and refund requests under its policies and applicable law. Restore purchases checks eligible active subscriptions and non-revoked Lifetime purchases associated with your Apple Account. It does not recover a deleted diary. Contact Apple for billing or refund requests and contact us for app functionality issues. Manage subscription and Restore purchases are in Profile → Subscription & purchases.
Responsible use and ownership
Use Soberkind lawfully. Do not redistribute the app, bypass purchase restrictions or misuse its content except where applicable law permits. The app’s software, branding and included artwork remain the property of their respective owners. Your use is subject to the app license; exported images may be shared through the features provided.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep Soberkind reliable, but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Updates, supported devices and optional features may change. We will respect applicable obligations for paid purchases and consumer rights. Material changes to these terms will be identified with a revised date and communicated where required; they do not remove rights already required by law.
Consumer rights and contact
Nothing here excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, or prevents you from exercising mandatory rights in your place of residence.
